Status Healthy | Location: Great Tree Yap Gotz |
The Red Cap appears in varying numbers on both the lower and higher floors of the Great Tree Yap Gotz, both alone and in groups with themselves and other monsters.
The Red Cap is the first common enemy in the game capable of beheading members of the player's party. It boasts an unusually high chance of beheading (27.9%) for such a low-level monster, with 20% of it being an inherent attribute and the remaining 7.9% contributed by its skill Improved Beheading Rate.
Due to it having only 50% resistance towards Summon spells, the Red Cap is an ideal early-game Contract target should you carry a Summoner into battle. It's an easy method of obtaining a Ninja early in the game, should you fail to roll a high enough stat-line during character creation. When reborn as an adventurer, it starts at the age of 1, and is of the Devilish race.
